Bayshore Marathon Week 12

An unplanned rest day shortened my mileage for the week, but all in all, I’m pleased with what I was able to do. And, I’m back to really long runs. For some reason 13-15 miles doesn’t seem that long, but anything above that sounds/seems longer. The Best Laid Plans

Most runners are type-A plan oriented. I am definitely one of those people. I like having a plan. I like sticking to a plan. Last weeks training went really well.  BUT, sometimes plans just don’t always work the way you want/need them to. Monday: 5 miles easy. P and I went to the park and ran I kept my pace at an average of 8:55. Tuesday: rest/yoga. NY Day. I relaxed. Wednesday: 7 mile tempo run. The Weekend Rewind

1. I ran this weekend!!  If you follow me on instagram, or twitter then you already know. I ran 6 miles OUTSIDE! I think some people were a bit worried that I overdid it. I promise, I was following PT’s orders. She said I could try outside. I was told to find even ground and go as long as I could/wanted to.  She knows I have goals, but she also would not allow me to jeopordize how far I have come.
