Miles Planned/Actual: 80/83 I really only planned for the first 2 weeks of the month. Plus the race and 3 planned running days (NYC, Alma & Kim, Pre-HTC group run). I technically didn’t even have a plan from the 13th on. I knew it would be minimal. I do think I would’ve hit 100 miles without this dumb ankle sprain. Boo.
Cross Training Planned/Actual: 7/7. everything I planned, I did. Again, stopped planning the week of vacation. Then another vacation. Then injury. I really do/did love my TRX, pilates, and yoga mix. It was the perfect combo. I look forward to getting back at it.
Races Planned/Actual: 1/.8 sorry but true. I guess I finished Hood to Coast, but technically I didn’t finish my portion.
PR’s: 0 But I totally killed my HTC legs. For reals. Really happy with my times.
New To Me Cross Training: 0. more donuts. I originally planned on accomplishing this last week when I got back from my trip. But my ankle prevented it. Boo.
Challenges Completed: 0
Current Aches/Pains: oh yes. The most awesome of awesome injuries. A sprained ankle caused by nothing but stupidity.
Current Book: I finished Emily Giffin’s Where We Belong. Currently finishing 2 months of magazines. Haven’t picked a new book yet.
Current Obsession: Getting better. Planning for more races. Trying to figure out if I can still accomplish my 12 in 2012 goal. Yes, I am slightly type A. All things I can’t really control but I am trying to.
Current Drink: NUUN! Currently rotating all flavors in my cabinet to change things up. Also beer. It is football season!
Current Like: all the fabulous peeps at on the HTC trip. Fall is on it’s way. It’s football season. Birthday is next month!
Current Dislike: Injury. Do I sound like a broken record? That Hood to Coast is over. And, the Auburn Tigers aren’t looking so hot this year. Yes, only just one game in, but still. Not looking great.
Current Treat: Yoforia has an almond butter flavor! Mix it with dark chocolate and it is serious trouble. P and I both said “no more treats.” Even with this statement, I wish I would’ve bought more Theo’s Fig, Fennel and Almond Chocolate Bars in Seattle. They rock. I know, it sounds gross, but it is really quite amazing. I have a serious chocolate addiction.
Current Excitement: I’m going to be an AUNT! I can finally put that on here. For reals this time though-I’m an “aunt” to all my friends kids (who I love dearly) , but my little sis is due in February. So a REAL aunt.

Looking forward to that PF exercise you have coming.
Congrats!! Auntie Elizabeth sounds wonderful!! You will have a blast. Being an aunt is awesome. You have the fun time with the kids, but once they misbehave or cry, you bring them back to mommie
Aww! Aunt Elizabeth! Congratulations!!
I read Where We Belong too and really liked it. Hope they come out with another book with these characters!
You had a fantastic month! Way more “highs” than “lows”.
Books… Pillars of the Earth followed by World Without End. They are super long…but you have time right now
*salt in wounds* Did you read the Hunger Games books yet? How about Wicked?
Here’s to a speedy healing process and a fast and effective rehab period!
You can totally complete 12 in 2012!! Congrats on becoming an aunt. Now I’m curious to know what Yoforia is.
ooh, i forget not everyone has one. It’s the frozen yogurt craze stuff-but i swear its the best. as good, if not better than Pinkberry.
As I read this, I’m wearing the brightest orange Auburn shirt that ever existed. It’s the college football shirt I own. So sorry to hear about the roll out. That stinks. And congrats on becoming an aunt! It’s so fun!
Congratulations on your sister’s pregnancy and becoming a “real” aunt!!!
you will LOVE aunthood. one of my nephews is just learning how to talk- apparently “Lisa” is too hard to say so my name is “lactose” (which to me seems harder, but i’ll take it!) I LOVE LOVE LOVE that speedy looking HTC pic. Hope september’s rest makes october a little better for you

Congrats on becoming an aunt! My sister is due in January so we will have a little nephew sometime after New Year’s. What did you think about the Emily Giffin book? I haven’t picked that one up yet.
i really liked it-read almost the entire book on the flight home from Seattle. Didn’t LOVE the ending-but hoping she uses the characters again.
