Just Say NO and Willpower

I am terrible at it.  NO is not really in my vocabulary.  Most people who know me will tell you this about me-I am a yes girl.  I say yes to most everything.  This includes my diet.  Which is why weight watchers is supposed to be good for me.  Everything in moderation.  But sadly, after this past weekends festivities, I’m still saying yes and not NO.  Oops.

Just a little peak into my holiday housewarming party that I threw on Saturday (I literally cooked for 2 days).

yes, asparagus and prosciutto in phyllo-fab cooking light recipe… 
yes to 5 pork tenderloins…
yes to way too many appetizers…
oh yes, a peanut butter chocolate cheesecake… 
yes, peanut butter pretzels dipped in chocolate… 
chewy gingersnap cookies and red velvet cookies…
and yes, whiskey sour punch.  

The party was lots of fun (thanks to my sis Allison for taking some before photos of the party) and lots of work.  And you see all of that fabulous food above??  Well, it’s all still in my house.  I had a fair amount of no-shows at the party which left me with a ton of left overs.  So why eat fruits and veggies when you can eat this?  Lots and lots of Y-E-S to appetizers and dessert.  For lunch and dinner.  For the past several days.  I’m so grossed out by myself.  Need to say N-O.

Just being honest.  
Dear Santa,
All I want for Christmas is some will power.

I may just have to throw it all away so I can get back on track.  Here’s to hoping the next few weeks aren’t this bad!!
