Three Things Thursday

1.  Thank you so much for all of your support from Tuesdays post.  I am looking forward to seeing someone a bit more qualified on Friday.  I look forward to sharing the results with yall–lets just hope that jerk off was wrong 🙂

2.  I will be working on a Run Less, Run Faster update soon.  My only fear is hitting my targets in this heat and having to run so many 20 milers.  20 milers are already tough but add 90 something degree heat and humidity and that is not my idea of a good time.  And really, how does one hit speed targets in the heat without risking injury or over heating?  I am going to go over the plan this weekend and see what adjustments I can make to it.

3. House hunting is fun but stressful.  It’s a lot of money and responsibility.  I mean, I already knew that it would be but once I started looking it really hit me.  I wish you could buy a house with a 30 day money back guarantee.  I have always ended up living in places and realizing later things that I didn’t like or would want to change…but I always knew it was a rental and it didn’t matter and it wasn’t permanent.   This is different…I would be staying in a place longer than a year or two (I have moved 6 times in 8 years).  Ahh.  Exciting and scary all at the same time.  I hope to be able to share more with you soon!

  • I feel like we have the same philosophy with moving- in past 8 years I moved 11 times… with the 12th looking like it may come soon. The idea of something more permanent scares me.
I wish you luck and more importantly peace of mind in your search!

  • Good luck!! I bought my house about 1 1/2 years ago & was super nervous about the big $$ & comittment. In the end, I am soooo happy I did it. I love having my own place!

  • I was so scared of the 30 year mortgage commitment, but now a year later I'm soo glad I did it. Just keep in mind, you should love the location and structure ofthe house, basically anything else can be changed over time. Good luck!!
