1. Do you ever feel like you have so much on your mind and you just can’t get it all out? That’s me today. My mind is racing with thoughts on life, running, work, blogging, etc. I feel like I have so many ideas for blog posts and I am anxious to get to writing them. Lots to write about. Some more personal than about running, but I feel like while I created this blog initially to be about running, there is a lot more to me than that and I enjoy this “sounding board.” Hope that makes sense. And I hope you are okay with me sharing more about life sometimes..not just bling.
2. I find myself skipping a run a week. It’s always my shorter run-the Tuesday or Thursday. I really thought I would get all of them in but after yesterday’s 10 miler than wasn’t so great and a tough Pure Barre class today, I am resting my legs tonight. I have an 18 miler scheduled for Saturday so I think it’s okay to skip my 4. I will be going to a running injury prevention clinic instead (again, future post). It should be interesting and hopefully I will learn something new.
3. I know there are a lot of us participating in the Run for the Bling of it Challenge. I knew I would be fine until April. April is focus on Big Sur for real month. Lisa (TNT coach) suggested no racing this month. Not even a 5K except for the Knock Out Cancer 5K (benefits LLS -TNT even changed our group run to be able to do this on a Saturday). So I have a question for you. I will be at the beach for a bachelorette party so I can’t really run it. But they have a phantom runner option-I could pay my fee, get the shirt and run at the beach. That’s close enough, right? I mean, I know I am a big nerd but I want to commit to a race a month. Whatcha think?
